Join Slow Food Oberlin, and start locally!
Slow Food Oberlin is a chapter of Slow Food USA’s On Campus projects, aiming to incorporate local and organic foods into campus life, to bridge campuses and communities through the exploration and celebration of locally produced agriculture, and to raise awareness about the local food effort.
Started Fall 2008, Slow Food Oberlin is off to a great start! Upcoming projects include: volunteering at George Jones Farm, inviting guest lecturers to campus, a fermentation workshop in conjunction with Slow Food Northern Ohio, holding seasonal food tastings, a breadmaking workshop, and working with a Murray Ridge group home located in Oberlin to start an organic garden.
